Bimetal Strip

Bimetal strip is the starting point for the manufacture of superior high performance saws. Two different steel grades - high speed steel on the cutting side and hot strength spring steel on the reverse side are welded along the length without the use of additional materials.

Martin Miller first produced watch springs in Vienna in 1782 and after over two centuries of steelmaking experience was eventually taken over by Bohler-Uddeholm in 1997.
