BOHLER MICROCLEAN - 3rd Generation Powder Metallurgy

From our new powder metallurgy plant opened in 1999 we launched our new Powder Metallurgy range - BOHLER MICROCLEAN ®.   Whilst the analysis of the steel is the same as our Bohler ISOMATRIX range, MICROCLEAN ® offers the following distinct advantages:-

• Smaller carbide size
• Better carbide distribution
• Low scatter band in properties
• Reduced level of non-metallic inclusions
• Improved toughness (by up to 20%)
• Improved bending strength
• Improved fatigue strength (by up to 20%)
